Certified Medical Assistant

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Medical Assistant located in Woodway, TX. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing patient care, managing medical records, and assisting with medical office tasks. Day-to-day tasks include preparing patients for examinations, taking medical histories, maintaining patient charts, and supporting physicians with clinical procedures. The role also requires understanding and utilizing medical terminology while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients.

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting and Patient Care to support clinical procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology to effectively communicate and document patient needs
• Experience in Medical Office operations, including scheduling, record-keeping, and coordination
• Familiarity with Medical Records to maintain accurate and secure documentation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
• Basic life support (BLS) certification is preferred
• Prior experience in a cardiology or clinical healthcare environment is a plus
