RN Charge - PRN Day Shift

Overview

Are you a passionate and experienced RN Charge looking for a flexible and engaging opportunity? Yoakum Community Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated RN Charge to join our team on a PRN day shift basis. As an RN Charge, you will function under the direction of the Department Director and Chief Clinical Officer, delivering safe and effective clinical care utilizing the nursing process in the assigned department.

We value your skills in patient assessment, response, and documentation, and we encourage you to continue developing your administrative skills to ensure safe patient care, effective communication, and activities that enhance unit efficiency.

As an engaging RN Charge, you will have the opportunity to seek guidance from supervisors and peers as needed and support and contribute to our Quality Assurance Program. We believe in fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth, so we encourage your active participation in the continuing education process. In addition, you will have the opportunity to assist with the education and mentorship of your peers and other staff members, making a positive impact on our team and the patients we serve.

• Deliver safe and effective clinical care utilizing the nursing process in the assigned department under the direction of the Department Director and Chief Clinical Officer
• Assess patients, respond to needs, document findings, and communicate effectively to ensure patient safety and unit efficiency
• Support and contribute to the Quality Assurance Program and participate in continuing education
• Assist with education and mentorship of peers and other staff members

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing
• Currently licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing as a registered nurse
• CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC & TNCC certifications required
• Minimum one year experience preferred
