Medical Assistant Limited X-Ray

Position Summary

Medical Assistant supporting Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologists, and patients at urgent care centers in partnership with Memorial Hermann and GoHealth Urgent Care.

• Provide support to medical providers, radiologic technologists, and patients across a variety of tasks including patient care management, organization, and communication.
• Perform limited capacity X‑rays for patients and report results to medical providers.
• Complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner while embodying the organization’s vision and mission.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; graduate of a Limited Medical Radiological Technologist (LMRT) program required.
• Medical Assistant experience preferred; experience performing X‑rays preferred.
• Certifications:
  
  One of the following preferred in addition to LMRT:
  CCMA
  , CMA
  , RMA
  , NCMA
  , NRCMA
  , or BLS (required at hire).

• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
• Excellent time‑management, multi‑tasking, and prioritization skills.
• Social perceptiveness and service‑oriented approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.

• Hourly Rate: $21.50 – $29.50.
• Monthly bonus incentive based on performance metrics; quarterly performance bonuses.
• Generous PTO.
