Job Type: PRN

Shifts: 7 am to 7 pm

Shift Commitment: Must be able to work day shifts.

• Welcome patients and complete check‑in, registration, and front desk duties
• Complete medical insurance verification, eligibility checks, and demographic entry
• Communicate with patients and families during high‑stress situations
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR or EPM system
• Coordinate paperwork and collaborate with clinical teams for smooth patient flow
• Manage phone calls, patient questions, and follow‑up needs
• Maintain a professional, organized front desk environment

• One to two years of medical insurance verification experience
• Two to three years of medical customer service or front desk experience
• Experience with EMR or EPM systems and MS Office
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association within sixty days
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be flexible for days, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Comfortable working in a fast paced emergency room environment
