Location: Childress
Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech‑Language Pathologist and use your skills where they are needed most. You will help residents in a skilled nursing facility improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function while practicing in Childress, TX.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, if applicable.
- Minimum 2 years of SLP experience in long term care or skilled nursing settings. (Required)
- Active Texas SLP license is required to start the assignment. Compact license accepted if applicable.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience developing and supervising treatment plans addressing dysphagia, cognitive-communication disorders, and speech-language deficits in geriatric populations.
- Experience leading or directing delivery of SLP services in accordance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Shift pattern: 8 hour days, 40 hours guaranteed.

Speech therapists develop and implement treatment plans to improve swallowing, communication, and cognitive function and to reduce aspiration risk. You will lead, guide, and direct delivery of speech‑language pathology services in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies to provide appropriate care to residents.
