Child Autism Therapist; Bachelors Degree

Position Overview

Action Behavior Centers hires caring people to help children with autism build communication, social, and independent skills. The position is full‑time (Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm, with optional Saturdays as needed). Immediate openings are available in Jersey Village, TX. No experience is required; we provide paid training and full coverage of your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm (no nights). Optional Saturdays may be required to meet patient needs.

Location:

16597 Village Dr, Jersey Village, TX 77040.

• Work one‑on‑one with children ages 18 months to 8 years using play‑based ABA therapy.
• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect session data.
• Help children learn through play, movement, reading, games and hands‑on activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed.

• At least 18 years old.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and comfortable with frequent sitting, standing, crouching, and floor work.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.
• Team mindset: may occasionally help support a nearby ABC clinic if additional coverage is needed.

• Childcare experience: nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, camp counselor, or tutor.
• Mental‑health roles such as QMHP or behavioral health technician.
• Paraprofessional, caregiver, or life‑skills assistant.
• Degrees in psychology, child development, or health sciences.

Pay:
Bachelor’s Degree: $15–$24 per hour
Master’s Degree: $16–$26 per hour (you will receive your first raise after earning your RBT certification).
