Pro Care Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and student-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based opportunity in Texas for the school year beginning in August 2026. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students lives while working within a supportive and collaborative educational environment.
Whether you are an experienced school-based clinician or looking to transition from a clinical, outpatient, rehabilitation, or hospital setting into schools, this role provides an excellent opportunity to grow your experience in educational therapy services.
Position Details- Full-time position available
- school year
- August 2026 start date - May 2027
- Onsite position, Itinerant & K-12th grade mix of age groups
- Caseload and school assignment discussed during interview
- Supportive district and multidisciplinary therapy team
- Provide speech and language therapy services in accordance with student IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Develop individualized treatment plans to support student communication and academic success
- Participate in IEP meetings and progress reporting
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or pending Texas SLP license
Ability to work onsite within a school-based setting - CCC-SLP preferred;
Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply - Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Open to candidates transitioning from clinical, outpatient, rehabilitation, or medical settings
