Location: Burnet
Clinical Assistant II for Specialty Services in Occupational & Physical Therapy (OT/PT) at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Office Building, 3430 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati OH 45229. Full-time, 40 hours per week, schedule Mon–Fri 8a-5:30p, starting pay $20.57 per hour, with potential increase based on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as physician liaison for priority referrals across inpatient, outpatient, and specialty programs.
- Coordinate and track patient care needs including DME, orthotics review, FIT follow‑up activities.
- Facilitate timely communication between providers, patients, and external partners to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist with scheduling, coordination, and administrative support for specialty group programs (e.g., Feeding groups, social skills groups, Thrive program).
- Manage referral workflows, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely processing.
- Provide phone management support, including handling inbound/outbound calls, triaging requests, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain documentation and tracking systems related to referrals and specialty program participation.
- Perform on-site scheduling functions at the Medical Office Building checkout areas.
- Assist patients with follow-up appointments and specialty service scheduling to support seamless transitions of care.
- Provide general administrative and operational support as assigned; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve processes and patient experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in healthcare, care coordination, or medical office operations.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
