Job Description:
The Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center (JTCMHC) is recruiting a Behavioral Health Case Manager for the Mobile Response and Urgent Recovery Center teams. The role focuses on crisis intervention, case management, and collaborative care to support individuals across all ages in regaining control of their lives and recovery.
- Crisis Intervention:
Provide immediate support to individuals in crisis, helping them regain stability and begin the recovery process. - Case Management:
Conduct assessment, treatment planning, and follow‑up support. - Collaboration:
Work with multidisciplinary team members and community resources to ensure comprehensive care. - Support and Guidance:
Assist clients of all ages in navigating mental health and recovery journeys to meet personal goals. - Professionalism & Ethics:
Maintain high professionalism and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in crisis situations.
- Experience in behavioral health or related field; knowledge of crisis intervention techniques.
- Case management experience preferred but not required.
- Commitment to compassionate, ethical care in a professional environment.
- Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team.
- High school diploma or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- At least 6 months of direct, documented experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or substance abuse issues.
- Annual base salary of $45,000.
