- - Responsibilities:
Executes specialized therapy plans designed by the OT, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve motor skills and coordination;
Teaches patients how to perform Activities of Daily Living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating, often using adaptive techniques;
Instructs patients and families on how to use adaptive equipment and mobility aids;
Records detailed notes on patient progress and safety, reporting findings to supervising OT;
Prepares treatment areas, cleans equipment, and may handle scheduling and billing
