Position: Mammography Technologist Per Diem (9525-PGC The Woodlands)
Location: Shenandoah

PER DIEM OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE

Onsite Women's Health offers comprehensive mammography services with innovative technology and proprietary protocols to deliver personalized, convenient breast care.

We use the latest 3D tomosynthesis digital mammography equipment in OB/GYN office environments, with flexible scheduling and no weekend or after‑hour shifts.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced mammographer who can work independently, cover on short notice, and handle both screening and diagnostic mammograms. In this per diem role you will impact each patient’s care while working in diverse practice settings.

Qualifications
  • Must be up to date on all CME credits.
  • Patient‑centric, compassionate, and computer savvy.
  • Experience performing a variety of technical activities for screening and diagnostic mammography.
  • Flexible and able to multi‑task.
  • Willing to cover on a moment’s notice.
  • Minimum 2 years of mammography experience (Required).
  • ARRT certification (Required).
Responsibilities
  • Specialize in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms for detecting breast cancers and lesions.
  • Support the success of the mammography service in the practice, ensuring all eligible patients receive annual screening.
  • Prepare patients for the mammographic procedure and explain steps to reduce anxiety.
  • Move and adjust mammographic equipment, set exposure factors, and operate with radiation protection techniques.
  • Follow safety standards and maintain equipment in proper working order.
  • Examine digital images for quality and report findings per MQSA, ACR, and State regulations.
  • Perform QA testing and maintain QA documentation to exceed FDA inspection requirements.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and process required paperwork and data entry.
  • Assist the radiologist with QA/QC reporting and mammography tracking per MQSA guidelines.
  • Help obtain and maintain ACR accreditation.
