Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients across outpatient caseload, including pediatric patients, with appropriate PT plans and progression.
  • Implement and update individualized treatment plans; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
  • Document patient status, goals, and outcomes per department standards; communicate with the care team.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education on exercises, safety, and home program adherence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teammates to support acute care and swing bed program needs and discharge planning.
Requirements
  • Active Physical Therapist license in Texas.
  • Pediatric therapy experience required; not accepting new graduates.
  • Experience with outpatient therapy; familiarity with acute care and swing bed programs preferred.
  • Ability to work in a hospital setting with a Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and patient education skills.
