Position: Travel Physical Therapist Skilled Nursing Facility Job

Physical Therapist needed for an outpatient clinic setting in Goldthwaite, Texas. The assignment starts 07/27/2026 for a 13-week travel position in a therapy center that serves primarily adults, with some high school students (typical age 13+). The work week follows a 5x8 schedule (Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). The target weekly pay range is $2,142 to $2,294 per week. This is a travel - temporary assignment with dedicated travel support.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat adult patients in an outpatient PT setting, with some teen patients (ages 13+), delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions as prescribed.
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to restore mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
  • Monitor patient progress, document findings, adjust plans of care, and communicate results to supervising clinicians as needed.
  • Manage a daily caseload of 8–10 patients, ensuring efficient, safe, and ethical care within a time-efficient visit structure.
  • Educate patients and families about home exercise programs, treatment goals, and injury prevention strategies; promote safe patient self-management.
Requirements
  • Active Physical Therapist license in Texas (or eligible for licensure)
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to work in an outpatient clinic setting on a Mon–Fri 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule
  • Strong communication skills and ability to document care clearly and concisely
  • Experience in outpatient PT or ability to adapt to an outpatient, adult-population caseload
