Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116 bed facility located in the beautiful residential Kingwood community. We are located about 30 miles northeast of the Houston Medical Center. The hospital provides 24-hour emergency services. We serve children, adolescents, and adults for psychiatric and behavioral health. The hospital also has services in intensive outpatient and partial hospital program services.

The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the process of receiving, scheduling and/or referring inquiry calls; assists the Counselors, Coordinators and Director with coordinating assessments, initiating Intake paperwork and insurance information; working with Admissions Clerk/Receptionist to ensure smooth transition into the admission process.

Job duties include:

• Coordinates and processes patient assessment.
• Handles Inquiry calls immediately.
• Assures that all required information is placed on the intake form.
• Facilitates referrals to outpatient services.
• Maintains communication with AHP, physician's offices and referral sources.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of related experience required.
• Experience in psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.
• Current CPR, Handle With Care and Verbal De-Escalation training (can be obtained on-site upon employment).
• Current TX Driver's License

  Week 1: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM
