Lab Corp is seeking a  
** Phlebotomist
* * to join our team in Groveton, TX (75845)

*
* Work Schedule:

** Monday - Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm;
Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm (additional hours may be requested as needed)

*
* Job Responsibilities:

*
* + Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

+ Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

+ Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

+ Process billing information and collect payments when required

+ Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

+ Maintain patient and specimen information logs

+ Provide superior customer service to all patients

+ Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

+ Travel to additional sites when needed, Reliable transportation required

* Minimum Qualifications:

*
* + High school diploma or equivalent

*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*
* + 1 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment

+ 6 months or more assisting all patient groups (pediatric - geriatric)

+ Current or prior Lab Corp experience

** Additional Job Standards:*
* + In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency

+ Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

+ Flexibility to work overtime as needed

+ Able to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment

+ Exceptional customer service

+ Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

+ Ability to work independently or in a team environment

+ Comfortable working under minimal supervision

In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. * Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
