Phlebotomist – Groveton, TX (75845)

Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm;
Friday 8:00am–12:00pm. Additional hours may be requested as needed.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed; reliable transportation required.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital environment.
• 6 months or more assisting all patient groups (pediatric to geriatric).
• Current or prior Lab Corp experience.

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency may be required in lieu of work experience.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Exceptional customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment; comfortable working under minimal supervision.
