The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing patients with the proper procedures and producing high‑quality images to assist physicians in diagnosing patients’ conditions. The technician will perform and record all sonographic procedures as specified by departmental protocols, operate various ultrasound equipment, transducers, and recording devices, recognize normal and pathological conditions, troubleshoot and resolve PACS issues, and contribute to work organization, scheduling, staffing, and performance improvement projects within the Ultrasound Department.

A sign‑on bonus of $10,000 is available with a two‑year work commitment.

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved Ultrasound Technologist Program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS – RDMS) or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• RVT strongly preferred.
• Board‑labeled BLS certification (through the American Heart Association) required.
• Proficient in ultrasound scanning techniques.
• Knowledge of ultrasound physical principles and instrumentation.
• Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and positioning for accurate imaging with the ability to recognize structures and demonstrate normal and pathological relationships.
• Knowledge of quality control related to image quality, processor, and equipment.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection‑control guidelines.
• Vascular experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in a hospital setting.
