• Shift: Full‑time Outpatient Physical Therapist – Day Shift (8 hours daily)

  Experienced Preferred
• Must possess a current Physical Therapist license issued by the State of Texas.

The Physical Therapist 1 provides care by evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment. They also educate patients and plan discharges to maximize function.

• Evaluates, treats, and monitors patients; modifies therapy programs and goals.
• Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner; enters charges accurately and understands reimbursement related to practice settings.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and the medical care team; provides education to patients, families, and staff.
• Supervises ancillary staff, students, and volunteers.
• Advances clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review, and implementation of evidence‑based practice.
• Dispenses knowledge to develop the clinical skills of colleagues; adheres to organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines.
• Maintains awareness of system goals; aligns personal goals and work activities to uphold or impact the system goals.

• Must possess problem‑solving skills necessary to accomplish the job.
• Must have excellent communication skills; able to relate professionally and positively to patients, families, and facility staff.
• Exhibits exceptional face‑to‑face synergy and leadership skills with all levels of the healthcare team; assures excellent customer service to patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.
• Possesses proficient computer knowledge; operates multiple computer systems and standard rehabilitation equipment.
• Displays high attention to detail in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
• Can multitask effectively while maintaining a high level of productivity.

• Education:
  
  Master’s or Bachelor’s plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• Experience:
  
  Less than 1 year of experience.
• Certification/License/Registration:
  Physical Therapist (PT) license by the State of Texas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
