Overview

You will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your role, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs.
Where you’ll be workingBordon – We support our clients living within central Bordon and also provide outreach in this area. Offering supported living, encouraging and enabling people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and accessing the local community & facilities.
We are looking for Female Support Workers to join our amazing team, to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.
Responsibilities- Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.
- Supporting activities of daily living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.
- Communicating effectively using people’s chosen methods.
- Engaging, promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life.
- Specialising in supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches.
- Recording keeping accurate records and reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management.
- Team player – working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using own initiative.
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
- 12 months experience in Support Work
- UK valid driver’s licence and access to your own car
