Job Summary

The Staff Pad has partnered with a prestigious healthcare organization in Hamilton, TX to find a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join their growing Physical Therapy team. In this role you will administer and oversee physician‑prescribed physical therapy treatments and therapeutic modalities to support patient rehabilitation and recovery.

• Deliver physical therapy treatments according to prescribed plans and scheduled appointments.
• Prepare, educate, and monitor patients throughout treatment sessions to ensure safe and effective care.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, physical agents, and ambulatory procedures while providing age‑appropriate care in accordance with departmental policies.
• Document treatments accurately and communicate patient progress to therapists, physicians, and leadership.
• Maintain therapy equipment through routine upkeep, cleaning, sanitization, storage, and minor preventive maintenance.

• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide exceptional patient service.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow infection control, safety procedures, and Healthcare System policies.
• Process daily therapy service charges.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current Texas PTA license required.
• Knowledge of physical therapy equipment and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• CPR certification.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient transfers; push/pull up to 300 lbs as needed.
