School Speech Language Pathologist - Wylie, Texas

This engaging role involves providing services across both a junior high and an elementary school, with the potential to extend coverage to a high school setting as well. The position begins as soon as possible and continues through mid-November, offering valuable experience in a collaborative and student-centered environment.

Your expertise will help empower students to achieve their communication goals while working alongside a committed team of education professionals.

• Current and active SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Prior work in educational/ school-based settings preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and student documentation
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

• Deliver therapy and assessment services to students on a split caseload between junior high, elementary (and later high school)
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
• Consult with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students speech and language needs
• Adapt approach across age groups, as the assignment transitions from elementary/junior high to high school
• Participate in meetings and multidisciplinary teams as required
