Location: Quanah

Med-Trans Corporation seeks a Flight Paramedic to deliver advanced prehospital and interfacility critical care during helicopter and fixed-wing transports. In this role, you will rapidly assess, stabilize, and treat critically ill or injured patients while collaborating closely with pilots, clinicians, and partner hospitals and EMS agencies. You will work in a safety-first, mission-driven environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, continuous training, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced prehospital and interfacility critical care during helicopter and fixed-wing transports
  • Rapidly assess, stabilize, and treat critically ill or injured patients using ALS protocols
  • Collaborate closely with pilots, nurses, and referring/receiving facilities to coordinate safe transports
  • Maintain strict adherence to aviation and clinical safety standards and Med-Trans protocols
  • Operate and troubleshoot advanced medical equipment in the aircraft environment
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
  • Participate in ongoing training, simulations, and skills validation to maintain competency
  • Support quality improvement, safety reporting, and mission debrief activities
  • Educate patients, families, and sending facilities on transport processes when appropriate
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, communication, and mission-driven patient care
