Med-Trans Corporation seeks a skilled Paramedic to join our Emergency Services air medical team. In this role, you will deliver advanced prehospital and interfacility critical care during helicopter and fixed-wing transports, working side-by-side with flight nurses and pilots. Responsibilities include rapid patient assessment, ALS interventions, medication administration, and continuous monitoring in high-acuity, time-sensitive situations. You will strictly follow aviation and clinical safety protocols, maintain detailed electronic documentation, and help ensure aircraft medical equipment readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality prehospital and interfacility critical care during air medical transports
  • Perform advanced life support interventions, including airway management, cardiac monitoring, and medication administration
  • Rapidly assess, stabilize, and monitor patients in complex and high-acuity situations
  • Collaborate closely with flight nurses, pilots, and ground EMS to ensure safe, coordinated missions
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and aviation operational procedures
  • Document patient care accurately using electronic patient care reporting systems
  • Participate in ongoing training, simulation, and skills validation to maintain clinical proficiency
  • Inspect, restock, and maintain medical equipment and supplies on aircraft
  • Communicate effectively with medical control, hospitals, and EMS partners
  • Support a mission-driven, compassionate culture that prioritizes patient outcomes and crew safety
