Overview: As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at our Healthcare and Rehabilitation Facility, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to our residents. CNAs work under the supervision of licensed nurses and assist with daily living activities, personal care, and ensuring the comfort and safety of residents. Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and eating.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring residents between beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
• Help residents with a range of motion exercises and ambulation as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output measurements, and other relevant information.
• Assist with medication administration under the supervision of licensed nurses.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, including making beds, tidying rooms, and organizing belongings.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and requests for assistance.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans for residents.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting social engagement and well-being.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to resident care discussions as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Active certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of [insert state].
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be required or preferred).
• Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
