Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of medical records experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to medical records in a long-term care setting.
• Valid and in good standing driver's license.

Responsibilities:

• Maintains patient medical records and computerized programs in accordance with federal and state guidelines and established policies and procedures.
• Performs periodic reviews and audits of all medical records in the facility, including current and discharged residents.
