Work OverviewWe are looking for a Occupational Therapist who is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care according to the patients individual physician orders. Patient care may involve evaluations, administering treatments and therapies, care planning, communication with other members of the patients multi-disciplinary team, emergency management, coordination of care, health promotion and teaching and training family members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Occupational Therapy services as prescribes by the patients physician
- Maintain a caseload/productivity of at least 33 visits weekly
- Provide a written evaluation defining Occupational Therapy needs, goals and expected outcome in conjunction with referring physicians plan of treatment
- Follow policies and procedures and adheres to all applicable patient care standards, licensure regulations and state laws
- Develop a written plan of care for Occupational Therapy with reasonable goals and outcomes
- Maintain patient and company confidentiality
- Maintain effective communication between staff, health care team members, and family
- Refer patients when appropriate to additional educational or medical services
- Participate in coordination of services (including discharge planning), with healthcare team, physicians, patient/guardians, nurses and others
Benefits are offered to full time employees who work 30 hours or more a week. Full time employees are eligible for benefits at 90 days of employment.

- Master's degree
- Active Occupational Therapy state of Texas license
- Experience with pediatrics and with pediatrics with developmental disabilities
