Nestled along a two‑mile (3.2‑kilometre) stretch of beach in Puerto Rico’s Bahia Beach community, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico is also surrounded by its own 483‑acre (195‑hectare) private nature reserve. The property is seamlessly integrated with its natural surroundings, allowing guests and residents to immerse themselves in the white sand beaches, verdant walking trails, and myriad outdoor activities – from golf, tennis, swimming and beyond.
Aboutthe role
The Rooms Controller plays a key role in maximizing room availability, managing inventory, and supporting daily operational efficiency across the Rooms Division. This position works closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, and Revenue teams to ensure accurate room status, smooth guest arrivals, and an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and thrives in a fast‑paced, luxury hospitality environment.
What You Will Do- Manage daily room inventory, room assignments, and availability to support occupancy and revenue goals.
- Coordinate closely with Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure accurate room status and timely room readiness.
- Support VIP arrivals, group blocks, upgrades, and special guest requests.
- Monitor discrepancies and resolve room status issues promptly.
- Assist with forecasting, reporting, and occupancy analysis as needed.
- Ensure adherence to Four Seasons standards, policies, and service excellence.
- Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Previous experience in Rooms Operations, Front Office, or Revenue Management (luxury hospitality preferred).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems (Opera or similar preferred).
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
