Pool Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy pool attendant to look after our guests and manage the pool deck area. The role involves welcoming and attending to guests, enforcing safety rules, and managing pool equipment and facilities.

• Approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly and service‑oriented manner by maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Promote a positive and caring work environment by addressing and resolving conflicts calmly.
• Observe and patrol the pool deck and enforce safety regulations.
• Preserve pool cleanliness, safety, and guest relationships through supervision and engagement.
• Greet guests upon arrival, distribute towels, offer assistance with seating, and deliver consistent guest service, exceeding expectations.
• Be knowledgeable of pool facilities such as the length and depth of all pools, poolside bar hours of operation, location of facilities, and emergency procedures for rescue.
• Take ownership of all guest requests and complaints, attempt to resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Identify and report defects throughout the pool and hot tub area, notify supervisors and relevant departments immediately of hazards, injuries, or equipment issues that negatively affect operations.
• Understand principles and practices of resuscitation, first aid, and CPR techniques.
• Know pool equipment to perform minor maintenance work.
• Maintain cleanliness of pools, hot tubs, pool deck, and facilities including straightening and stacking chairs, collecting soiled towels and trash, moving chairs, replacing flags, and cleaning signs.
• Work closely with other departments essential to ensuring a positive guest experience.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
