Position Summary

The Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales and supports the daily operations of the sales department. The role includes managing sales quotas, developing and executing sales plans, handling guest concerns, and ensuring adherence to hotel policies.

Essential Functions
  • Assist the Director of Sales with daily sales operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and manage sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Manage sales quotas, forecasts, and performance metrics.
  • Generate new business and maintain relationships with existing accounts.
  • Coordinate events, group bookings, and catering services with the Banquet and Food & Beverage departments.
  • Ensure seamless communication between sales, banquet, and F&B teams for event execution.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, brand standards, and service expectations.
  • Participate in site tours, client meetings, and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and client documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
  • 3‑5 years of experience in Sales, Food and Beverage hotel operations, with at least 1‑3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience with property management systems and hotel reservation software is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation

$55,000 – $60,000 (actual compensation may vary based on experience, certifications, and location).
