Position Overview
The Seamstress/Tailor will maintain all employee uniforms, produce, alter, store, clean, and organize them, and repair damaged linen and upholstery. This is a full‑time, 1st shift position at Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center.
Responsibilities- Produce, alter, and clean employee uniforms.
- Repair damaged linen, upholstery, and bedspreads.
- Affix name labels and inventory tags to all uniforms.
- Assist uniform attendants with laundering, steaming, and issuing uniforms.
- Order and maintain inventory of sewing supplies, buttons, labels, and inventory tags.
- Previous seamstress experience required.
- Ability to operate sewing machines and other sewing equipment.
- Good hand‑eye coordination for hand‑sewing small pieces of cloth.
Pay rate: $20.25 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, weekly pay, and training opportunities.
