Hotel Laundry Linen Attendant

Role Overview

The Laundry Chute Attendant is responsible for emptying and sorting linen that comes down from guest room floors in the linen chute room, then transporting sorted linen to the main onsite laundry facility. This is a full‑time position on the first shift, located at Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University.

• Efficiently sort all linens by designated categories and ensure proper loading into laundry transport carts.
• Transport fully loaded laundry carts—potentially up to 500 pounds—across distances up to 200 yards, including traversing inclines, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Track and document the number of carts accumulated throughout each shift to support inventory management and operational flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all work areas and equipment, promptly reporting maintenance issues or deficiencies to supervisory staff.
• Provide proactive assistance to the laundry operations team as needed, supporting smooth workflow and high service standards.

• No experience required.

• Hourly pay: $18.00 per hour.
