1. Administrative Support:
o Assist the Director of Spa and Wellness with day-to-day administrative tasks, including
managing schedules, meetings, and reports.
o Maintain and organize spa documentation, records, and compliance materials as
required.
2. Operations Management:
o Oversee daily operations of Folklore, ensuring the spa is fully staffed and organized to
meet guest needs.
o Collaborate with the Director to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and
service throughout all areas of the spa.
3. Team Coordination:
o Schedule staff in alignment with spa services and treatments, ensuring optimal
coverage and support during peak times.
o Provide guidance and mentoring to spa staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work
environment.
4. Guest
Experience:
o Ensure a seamless guest experience by managing appointment bookings, service
coordination, and customer follow-up.
o Address guest inquiries and feedback promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and
retention.
5. Inventory and Supplies Management:
o Assist in managing inventory levels of spa products and supplies, coordinating orders
and stock rotations as needed
Collaborate with the Director to implement retail strategies that enhance guest
experiences and drive sales.
6. Compliance and Safety:
o Support compliance with health, safety, and industry standards in all spa operations.
o Assist in implementing and reinforcing policies and procedures that promote a safe and
welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Hospitality, Health Sciences, or a related field; certification in spa management or wellness preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in spa management or related roles, with a focus on luxury hospitality or wellness environments. - Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge:
Understanding of spa treatments, wellness trends, and best practices, alongside retail management knowledge.
The Spa Manager at Folklore will serve as the right hand to the Director of Spa and Wellness, playing a vital role in ensuring the efficient daily operations of our spa facility. This position is responsible for administrative tasks, scheduling, and ensuring that the spa is adequately staffed and organized. The Spa Manager will support the delivery of exceptional wellness experiences, contributing to the overall success and satisfaction and of our guests.
