A rapidly growing, private equity-backed industrial services organization is seeking a hands-on, transformational HR leader to build and scale the HR function during a critical period of growth and operational evolution. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity with a clear path toward future executive-level responsibilities. The organization is heavily focused on acquisitions, operational scale, and long-term value creation. Leadership is looking for an HR professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and can balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
Responsibilities- Building and scaling HR infrastructure across a growing organization
- Leading HR operations, compliance, and process improvement initiatives
- Supporting M&A integration activity and organizational growth
- Driving HR reporting, workforce analytics, and leadership insights
- Partnering closely with executive leadership on people strategy
- Managing compensation and incentive programs, including LTIP/phantom equity administration
- Supporting both union and non-union employee populations
- Leading HR systems optimization and HRIS/process integration efforts
- Ensuring compliance and reducing organizational risk across HR operations
- Proven experience building or transforming HR functions in high-growth environments
- Strong operational HR leadership experience with the ability to “roll up your sleeves”
- Experience supporting blue-collar, industrial, construction, contractor, manufacturing, or field-based work forces
- Strong understanding of union workforce environments, labor compliance, and workforce retention strategies
- HRIS implementation and/or integration experience
- Experience supporting PE-backed organizations and/or acquisition-driven environments preferred
- Experience with compensation and long-term incentive programs (LTIP, phantom equity, RSUs, ESOPs, etc.) is required
- SHRM or PHR/SPHR certification preferred
- Degree not required but highly preferred
- Highly visible role with direct executive leadership exposure
