Seeking an HR Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity with our client in McGregor, TX.
Responsibilities:- Support full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing, skilled trades, administrative, and professional positions.
- Partner with hiring managers on staffing needs, interviews, candidate selection, offers, and pre-employment requirements.
- Build talent pipelines through job fairs, community events, school partnerships, and workforce development initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and supervisors regarding policies, attendance, benefits, payroll-related questions, and workplace concerns.
- Support employee relations activities, including coaching, corrective action, performance management, engagement, retention, and recognition.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring a professional and welcoming employee experience.
- Manage employee records, HRIS updates, offboarding activities, and other employee lifecycle processes.
- Coordinate training, performance reviews, engagement initiatives, employee events, and recognition programs.
- Assist with HR reporting, workforce analytics, headcount, turnover, recruiting metrics, and compliance-related activities.
- Partner with HR leadership on process improvements, workforce planning, policies, compensation, employee development, and other HR initiatives.
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, HR coordination, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
- Experience supporting employee relations within a manufacturing, industrial, construction, or other hourly workforce environment.
- Recruiting and talent acquisition experience.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, performance management, HR records, and employee lifecycle processes.
- General understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect effectively with employees at all levels.
- Excellent organization, follow-through, prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
