The RolePresidio is seeking a Sales VP, AWS Strategic Accounts, to join our team in a leadership position. The cloud practice is the fastest growing business unit within Presidio, and we are looking for a dynamic leader with experience in building and leading high performance, strategic selling teams. This team is focused on growing key accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of AWS solutions.
The ideal candidate will be well versed in outcome‑based selling, account planning, and partnering with AWS leaders to drive opportunities.
In this role you will be expected to travel up to 50% of within the U.S.
Job Responsibilities- Lead a team of highly skilled, geographically dispersed leaders focused on Hyperscaler growth in services and consumption.
- Drive Talent Agenda
:
Responsible to recruit and attract talent aligned to the needs of the business. Create standardized roles and responsibilities and drive accountability for individuals to build and maintain the appropriate skills. - Operational Excellence
:
Align resources to the right opportunities and drive the sales campaign to closure. - Business Development
:
Build teams focused on AWS deal sourcing and positioning in our existing account base, as well as net new targeted white space. - Partner with Sales Leadership to identify the needs of the customers in the territory and drive the right engagement to support financial goals.
- Client Relationships
:
Build and maintain long‑term loyal client relationships, as well as establish and attack/convert competitively held in front of clients both virtually and in‑person to present Presidio solutions and to gain knowledge about the clients' business requirements. - Partner Relationships
:
Build credibility and strengthen relationships with AWS executives. This includes positioning Presidio as a top tier partner and building synergies with your team’s field peers. - Advocacy
:
Recognize the accomplishments and demonstrate the impact of presales team members. Work across practices and executive leadership to identify and be able to provide presales team with resources needed to succeed. - Partner with delivery leadership to provide pipeline visibility and Vendor/Customer expectations of services and ensure we have the right offerings to align to capture the market.
- Collaborate:team with DBSS peer leaders to improve sales and delivery motions within the organization to maximize customer satisfaction and Presidio profitability.
- Demonstrated ability to execute in highly matrixed environment.
- Strong presence and track record of engaging and influencing executive stake holders.
- Authentic and transparent leader who builds a culture of success through customer relevance and impact.
- Strong operational skills of managing a budget and optimizing resource alignment.
- Experience leading a team of strategic sellers focused on customer business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
- 15 years of cumulative experience in large, multi‑dimensional technology organizations
- 5+ years of sales management experience
- Experience in technology solution sales.
- Experience with computer, storage and network technologies in complex organizations.
- Proven leadership and ability to drive sales team.
