Senior DevOps Engineer

Hybrid Onsite Every Other Week in Westlake, TX

The organization seeks a Senior Dev Ops engineer to support an extensive range of equity investment products by advancing CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. The role contributes within an agile, collaborative culture to deliver secure, automated, and reliable engineering outcomes.

Rate: $60.00 to $65.00/hr. w2

• Design, build, and advance automated CI/CD pipelines for trading applications.
• Support and enhance cloud infrastructure and security configurations in the public cloud.
• Develop and maintain operational tooling for complex, distributed, highly concurrent systems.
• Apply automation and instrumentation to infrastructure processes.
• Create deployment pipelines and automation to support engineering teams.
• Collaborate within an agile team and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Innovate and experiment to better support evolving business needs.
• Contribute to pipeline as code and infrastructure as code practices.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Groovy;
  Bash or Type Script experience beneficial.
• Experience supporting and building operational tools for distributed, highly concurrent systems.
• Background in infrastructure, system, and security configuration and policy management.
• Demonstrated success with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Experience installing, operating, maintaining, and upgrading vendor products across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Scrum/Agile practices with a collaborative work style.
• Datadog experience (preferred).
• Splunk experience (preferred).
• Basic Angular knowledge (preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Systems Networking, Information Systems/Science, or a closely related discipline.
• AWS certification (preferred).
• Scrum certification (preferred).
