Oracle Cloud Finance Functional Architect - Senior Manager

About the role

As an Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud Finance Functional Architect / Tech Lead, you will make an impact by designing, leading, and delivering scalable Oracle ERP Cloud solutions with a strong focus on Finance and integrations. You will be a valued member of the Enterprise Applications and Digital Finance team and work collaboratively with global delivery teams, architects, functional leads, and client stakeholders across onsite and offshore locations.

• Provide technical and functional leadership for Oracle ERP Cloud Finance implementations.
• Design and deliver integrations and extensions using REST/SOAP APIs, Groovy, VBCS, and ADFdi.
• Lead reporting, data extraction, and conversion solutions using BIP, OTBI, BICC, and FBDI.
• Define scalable architecture and ensure secure system design aligned with ERP Cloud data models and security.
• Lead and mentor large onsite–offshore teams while engaging directly with clients and senior stakeholders.

Work model:
Work in Parsippany, NJ or Atlanta, GA preferred; remote with travel for project milestones possible

• 15+ years of experience working with Oracle platforms.
• Strong hands‑on technical experience with Oracle ERP Cloud, including Finance modules.
• Proven architecture and system design expertise to build scalable enterprise solutions.
• Strong client‑facing, communication, and technical leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, mentor talent, and challenge the status quo with innovative solutions.

• Understanding of Oracle Fusion AI agents and intelligent automation capabilities.
• Oracle Fusion AI or related Oracle certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience across both Finance and SCM functional domains.
• Strong presentation skills for executive, functional, and technical audiences.

The annual salary for this position is between $138,000 - $162,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
