About the role
As a Sr. Developer, you will make an impact by designing and implementing integration solutions using SQL, OSB, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle SOA Suite within the Transportation & Logistics domain. You will be a valued member of the Technology team and work collaboratively with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to enhance system performance, ensure seamless integration, and deliver scalable solutions.
Inthis role, you will:
- Design and implement complex integrations using OIC, XML, SOAP, REST, and related protocols.
- Build integrations between legacy applications and Oracle HCM/SCM/ERP Cloud systems using OIC adapters (DB, File, FTP, SOAP, REST).
- Apply SOA principles and best practices to deliver robust middleware solutions and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Drive innovation by leveraging Oracle iPaaS components, Fusion AI agents, and emerging technologies to optimize business processes.

What you need to have to be considered- 5–10 years of experience on Oracle platforms with hands‑on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Strong experience designing integrations using OIC, XML, SOAP, REST, XQuery, XSLT, XSD, and WSDL.
- Proficiency in Oracle SOA Suite, OSB, and iPaaS components with knowledge of integration design patterns.
- Experience in Oracle SaaS concepts and delivering integration between legacy and Oracle Cloud systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for middleware integrations and experience working in onsite‑offshore models.
- Deep technology/solution knowledge in Oracle Fusion Cloud with specialization across multiple industry verticals.
- Experience delivering solution governance for transformation programs within the Oracle ecosystem.
- Strong architecture and system design knowledge to build highly scalable business solutions.
- Understanding of Fusion AI agents and certifications in AI technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and people management skills with a focus on mentorship.

Salary and Other CompensationThe annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $102,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
