The Role Peraton is seeking to hire an experienced Military Information Support Operations (MISO)/former psychological operations (PSYOP) Planner.

Location:

San Antonio TX aton's Operational Planning, Implementation, and Assessment Services Team is seeking an experienced Military Information Support Operations (MISO) / former Psychological Operations (PSYOP) Planner to integrate MISO functions and tasks into all facets of Combatant Command (CCMD)-level planning. This role ensures that the command group and staff fully consider MISO/PSYOP effects throughout the decision-making process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Integrate MISO/PSYOP into contingency and operations plans, ensuring MISO/PSYOP capabilities are fully accounted for during deliberate and crisis-action planning.

* Provide expert mission analysis, analytic problem-solving, and assessment skills.

* Employ information systems and information-related capabilities (IRCs).

* Collaborate with interagency and intelligence community partners.

* Develop innovative concepts to counter adversarial use of information within the cyber and electromagnetic domains.

* Review, analyze, and translate tactical and operational-level IO-related directives into actionable support for maneuver elements.

* Apply technical MISO/PSYOP expertise to operational and tactical planning and execution.

* Identify and track measures of performance and measures of effectiveness.
* Advise commanders and planners during the development of operational concepts.

* Support reporting requirements, assess project issues and risks, and develop solutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction objectives.
#OPIAS Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of planning experience. An additional 4 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education requirements.

* MISO/PSYOP (37A/37F) career field.
* Knowledge in joint operational planning process, military decision-making process, and military campaign plan planning, targeting processes and expertise in developing and accessing tactical and operational level MISO/PSYOP plans and orders.

* Have a minimum of 5+ years of experience with MISO planning at the service or joint level in support of operations at Combatant Commands or Joint Task Forces.

* Have a working knowledge of information operations (IO), military deception (MILDEC), operations security (OPSEC), electronic warfare (EW), and cyberspace operations missions, tasks, and overall war fighting functions that support operations, understand how to integrate Joint capabilities, and be capable of synchronizing activities of mutual concern.
* Knowledge of service departments (Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force) functions and their relationships to CCMD to coordinate MISO/PSYOP actions in appropriate channels, e.g., Army, Navy, Air Force, or Joint.
