History
Martin County Hospital District (MCHD) was organized in 1967 and has boundaries coterminous with Martin County, Texas. It is located in the heart of West Texas. Opened in 1949, the hospital was originally located near downtown Stanton. This facility served the community well for many years but was replaced with a state‑of‑the‑art 18‑bed facility in 2012. The new facility is located on I20 and has been designated as a Critical Access Hospital.
PositionPurpose
This role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests and escalating incidents when considered appropriate and necessary. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in‑person, hands‑on help at the desktop level.
This role is also responsible for quality reporting measures as needed.
Education: Combination of both education and/or experience in IT support responsibilities.
Licenses/Certificates: IT related certificate is preferred but not required.
Experience: One (1) year experience as an IT Support Help Desk or other IT related position. Clinical experience recommended.
