The Data Center Operations Program Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence, scalability, and cross‑functional alignment across Nscale’s data center portfolio. This role serves as a key operational leader and strategic partner to the Director, supporting execution of critical priorities and ensuring consistent, high‑quality operations across all sites.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate cross‑functional response during high‑impact events.
- Lead and manage cross‑functional operational programs across multiple data center sites.
- Drive consistency in operational practices, standards, and processes.
- Support execution of strategic initiatives tied to scaling and operational maturity.
- Act as a central coordination point across Operations, EHS, Security, IT, and Construction.
- Support onboarding and ramp‑up of new data center sites.
- Develop and implement standardized processes for site readiness and operational handoff.
- Identify gaps in operational capabilities and drive solutions.
- Ensure consistency across regions while adapting to local requirements.
- Oversee coordination with operations vendors.
- Ensure alignment between vendor execution and Nscale operational standards.
- Monitor overall service delivery effectiveness and support issue resolution.
- Facilitate governance structures and performance reviews.
- Serve as a central point of coordination for operational escalations.
- Drive timely resolution of issues impacting safety, reliability, or performance.
- Track trends and recurring issues, ensuring root cause resolution.
- Develop and implement scalable operational frameworks and playbooks.
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement across sites.
- Drive adoption of best practices and operational consistency.
- Support implementation of tools and systems to enable scale.
- Partner closely with EHS, Security, IT, and Construction.
- Ensure alignment across all functions supporting data center operations.
- Develop and deliver operational reporting and insights to leadership.
- Provide visibility into performance, risks, and operational readiness.
- Support decision‑making through data‑driven analysis.
- Act as a trusted advisor and extension of the Director.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in data center operations, program management, or mission‑critical environments.
- Experience managing complex, multi‑site operations or programs.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and operational requirements.
- Experience in hyperscale or large‑scale data center environments.
- Background in vendor management and service delivery models.
- Familiarity with EHS, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience supporting rapid organizational or infrastructure scaling.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate in complex, cross‑functional environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking with strong execution capability.
- High level of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to manage ambiguity in a fast‑paced, scaling environment.
- Operational consistency across sites.
- Successful onboarding and readiness of new data centers.
- Timeliness and effectiveness of issue resolution.

- May require travel to data center sites.

This role is critical to building a scalable, high‑performing data center operations function. It ensures that as Nscale grows, operations remain consistent, controlled, and aligned across all sites, while enabling leadership to maintain visibility and accountability without becoming a bottleneck.
