Join our team as a Service Engineer in Afton, TX, providing hands-on support for Dell server and data center systems in a dynamic, technology-driven environment. [Responsibilities]

- Deliver on-site support for Dell server and data center systems, ensuring rapid issue resolution and minimal service disruption
- Perform hardware maintenance, including server builds, component swaps, replacements, and firmware updates
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and operating system issues; escalate complex problems as needed
- Execute both reactive and preventive maintenance in line with established protocols
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams during service events for efficient resolution
- Document all service activities and contribute insights to shared knowledge bases
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide extended coverage when required

[Required Skills and Experience]

- 2-5 years in data center, field service, or technical support roles
- Proven expertise with server hardware: CPU, memory, power supplies, GPUs

- Experience with Linux or related operating systems
- Strong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities for customer interaction
- Flexibility to travel, lift up to 50 lbs, and support on-call scheduling
- Associate or bachelor's degree in IT or similar; equivalent experience accepted
