We are looking for a SQL Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing databases, developing SQL queries and scripts, and ensuring data integrity and performance. You will play a key role in supporting business applications through efficient data management and analysis.
What You'll Be Doing- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for various applications.
- Design and implement database schemas to support business needs.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all databases.
- Monitor and tune database performance to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to translate requirements into database solutions.
- Document database processes, scripts, and standards for internal knowledge sharing.
- 3+ years of experience in SQL development, database management, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or Postgre
SQL. - Experience in database design, normalization, and optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
- Solid understanding of data integrity, backup/recovery, and security best practices.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing solutions.
- Knowledge of performance monitoring and tuning tools (e.g., SQL Profiler, EXPLAIN plans).
- Familiarity with cloud databases (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS) or BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
