Overview
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join their team. Daily responsibilities will include white glove onsite hardware and software support for the large facility. This role is customer facing and will require excellent customer service experience and skills. Troubleshooting support may include Windows desktops, printers, mobile devices, managing assets, managing Citrix and Windows virtual desktops, audio/visual systems, and project-based work among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Provide onsite hardware and software support for a large facility.
- Deliver "white glove" support to end users; ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot desktop, printer, mobile device, and AV-related issues; manage assets.
- Support Citrix and Windows virtual desktops; participate in project-based work as needed.
- Minimum of 5 years of onsite desktop support experience (2-3 years if at enterprise-level companies).
- Experience with hardware and software support and onsite, hands-on desktop support.
- Experience with Service Now ticketing system.
- Basic networking experience.
- Experience supporting mobile technology such as iPads, iPhones, and Surface units.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 11, Apple Ventura and/or Sonoma IOS, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Proven communication and customer experience skills.
- A+ Certification or Network+ and CCNA Certification required.
- Plusses:
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (or obtained from Pluralsight within 6 months of full-time employment); ITIL 4 Framework training (or obtained from Pluralsight within 1 year of full-time employment).
$23/hr-$25/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
