Job Overview
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. As a Data Center Manager you will manage the world’s largest Cloud Computing Infrastructure, driving operational excellence and leading high‑performing teams to maintain and build data centers.
Key Responsibilities- Managing and developing teams of engineers, providing both technical and leadership expertise and ensuring highest levels of performance.
- Maintaining existing data centers.
- Helping build and bring new data centers online.
- Constantly improving all processes and procedures.
- Assisting and managing relationships with external vendors and contractors.
- Liaising with internal teams and management groups.
- Ensuring adherence to and exceeding local health and safety standards.
- Creating and maintaining metrics on all aspects of data centers and using those metrics to drive positive changes.
- Assisting in implementing service methodologies including incident management, problem management, change management, and capacity management.
- 4+ years of Information Technology experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
- 1+ year of operations and on‑call support for data center facilities, mission critical plants, or production facilities.
- 1+ year of networking experience (e.g., DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP).
- 2+ years of data center experience.
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership or building financial and operational reports that inform business decision‑making.
- Experience conducting interviews and making effective hiring decisions.
- Project management certification such as PMP, Scrum, or other Agile certification.
- Knowledge of AWS services such as Elastic Compute Cloud, Elastic Block Storage, and Simple Storage Service.

Benefits & CompensationThe base salary range for this position is USD 96,900.00 – annually. The full Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
