We are seeking a highly driven & passionate Senior WMS Implementation Consultant to reinforce our Services Team. The selected candidate will be based in Athens.

You will work closely with Mantis
’ corporate management and deliver advanced WMS implementation and support services to Mantis
’ existing and new clients and partners.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze client business needs and warehouse process requirements, translating them into effective solution designs and detailed Blueprint documentation.
  • Configure advanced WMS functionalities and perform system customization where required to meet client-specific operational needs.
  • Own the functional and configuration aspects of integrations with third-party IT systems, including ERP, TMS, parcel carriers, system integrators, and material handling automation solutions.
  • Configure and support connectivity with warehouse execution devices and technologies, such as RF and voice terminals, Pick-to-Light, Pick-to-Cart, Put-Wall, printers, sorters, and related automation equipment.
  • Deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions to customer WMS support teams, enabling them to configure, customize, deploy, and support the solution effectively.
  • Lead and support UAT and Go-Live preparation activities, including test environment setup, use case refinement, test execution, issue resolution, and operational readiness.
  • Provide hands-on functional support and troubleshooting for production issues during implementation, stabilization, and post-Go-Live phases.
  • Capture implementation and support challenges and provide structured feedback to Mantis corporate support and R&D teams to drive continuous product improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle, including client teams, Mantis onshore and offshore service teams, and third-party partners.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly status reports covering project progress, key activities, risks, issues, and next steps.
Requirements and knowledge
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, Logistics/Supply Chain, Computer Science or related degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in implementing and supporting WMS solutions.
  • Experience in requirements analysis and translation into a systems definition.
  • Very good WMS domain knowledge of:
    • All processes: receiving, put away, counting, picking, packing, shipping, etc.
    • Interfacing with ERP and other IT systems through EDI, XML, Web Services, etc.
    • Peripheral interfacing devices, Barcode scanners / RF terminals / mobile computers, Label printers / thermal printers / print servers, Scales / weigh bridges / checkweighers, Dimensioning systems.
  • Experience with Warehouse Automation solutions such as AS/RS, Pick-to-Light, Pick-to-Cart/Pick-to-Container, Put-Wall, and Voice Picking, as well as Warehouse Operations & Optimization areas including Slotting, Parcel & LTL management, and Labour management.
  • Very good command of Greek and English language.
