Responsibilities
- Directing and managing down hole commodities and logistics supply.
- Proactively ensures on-site inventory levels are continually maintained.
- Continuous understanding of on-site operations and completion times with a focus on safety and accurate forecasting.
- Supply management, accurate communications, delivery guidance, and quality service assurance.
- Exercising discretion and making independent judgments concerning down hole commodities and logistics purchasing activities.
- Compile and submit a series of inventory and forecasting reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as specified by the Materials Manager.
- Providing accurate details of on-hand inventory, inventory in-transit, and forecast with budgeted sales.
- Continuously works with sales and operations to forecast demands.
- Continuously evaluate supplier/vendor performance and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Assist Material Manager with procurement operations and other related projects as assigned.
- Disseminate company goals and objectives and ensures they are adhered to.
- Comparing vendor price variance on a quarterly basis.
- Represent company with highest level of professionalism.
- Provide updates for material status and open purchase orders.
- Coordinate scheduling for orders based in material lead times and arrival dates.
- Maintain integrity and accuracy of the physical inventory by location.
- Maintain records/spreadsheets for repairs and plan for future requirements based on orders, production schedules, and forecasts.
- Work closely with supply chain Buyers & operations personnel to prepare, execute and follow material orders and deliveries.
- Help maintain inventory traceability and accuracy.
- Microsoft NAV experience will be helpful.
- Conduct audit related activities including obtaining and analyzing data, reviewing records and supporting documentation, completing audit work papers, completing audit findings worksheets, and submitting audit findings for review, discussion, update, and approval.
- Ensures company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience with personnel and inventory management.
- Background in gas/oil field fracturing operations or pneumatic trucking preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite with an emphasis on Excel.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Essential identification skills, identifying and recognizing changes in circumstances, proactively develops alternative options.
- Knowledge of safety policies, procedures and regulations associated with bulk pneumatic trucks.
- Computer proficiency.
- Knowledge of business and management principles including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Proven communication and organizational skills to coordinate, communicate, and implement company goals.
- Sensitivity to confidential information.
- Capability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Operates in a professional and/or business casual office environment.
- Routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers/scanners, and smartphones.
- Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
- Ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Adherence to process protocol.
- Strong work ethics of integrity and honesty, striving for excellence in all activities employing accompanying communication.
