General Maintenance and Grounds Keeping

• Responsible for performing daily maintenance of resort property including buildings, grounds, plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs, general repairs, and pool maintenance.
• Follow written/verbal directions of resort manager.
• Provide guests/members and staff with excellent customer service.
• Part time position with 24 to 25 hours a week.
• Weekend and holiday shifts required.

• Performs general preventative maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Knowledgeable of electrical processes and basic plumbing.
• Daily grounds upkeep including mowing, weed whacking, landscaping and general repairs.
• Ability to work unsupervised for extended periods at a time.
• While performing duties you will be required to stand, walk, climb, balance, bend, crawl, squat and perform work in a safe manner.
• Other duties assigned per manager on duty.
• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Working knowledge of general maintenance procedures in both a team and individual work environment.
• Safety conscious.
• Excellent customer service.
• Good time management skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years maintenance experience required.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Wet/dry, hot/c weather conditions (most work is performed outside).
• Use of weed whacker/lawn mower.
• Moving mechanical parts.
• Vehicles (Golf Cart).
• Noise levels may be loud at times.
• Use of tools that when improperly used can cause injury or death.
