Maintenance Technician

Banyan Living, a leader in the luxury apartment industry, is dedicated to providing top-notch living experiences in the greater Cleveland and Columbus areas. We are currently on the lookout for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team.

As a Maintenance Technician at Banyan Living, you will be an essential part of our operations, ensuring that our properties are maintained to the highest standards. You will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, addressing residents' concerns promptly, and ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our community.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests efficiently and courteously.
• Conduct routine inspections of properties and grounds to identify maintenance needs.
• Assist with the preparation of vacant units to ensure a seamless move-in experience for new residents.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in emergency on-call rotation as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential or commercial settings.
• Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
