Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

As a vital member of our housekeeping team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and SANITATION of our facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

As a Housekeeper with Avir at Post, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of patient rooms, common areas, and equipment

• Restocking supplies and linens as needed

• Utilizing various cleaning chemicals and equipment to achieve a high level of cleanliness and disinfection

• Collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow

• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations at all time

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas

• Restock supplies and linens as needed

• Sanitize and clean equipment and machinery

• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of storage areas and closets

• Follow established protocols for handling hazardous waste and disposing of biohazardous materials

• Perform other duties as assigned by management and supervisors

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 0 years of experience in housekeeping or related field

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, push/pull 30 pounds, and stand for long periods

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
